My Submission Was Rejected. What Can I Do?
Researchers may reject a submission if they believe the participant did not give a good-faith effort, if the survey was completed incorrectly, or if the participant failed to follow instructions. These rejections impact your quality score.
If you have a submission rejected there are a few things you can do.
The best action is to contact the researcher. Using the Conversations Center, you can message the researcher and ask why the task was rejected. If possible, the researcher may allow you to attempt the project again, although there will be many cases where this is not possible. If the researcher decides that the rejection was a mistake, they can reverse the rejection.
Communicating with the researcher will always be the fastest way to resolve a rejection.
As per our Terms of Service, rejection disputes will need to be handled between the researcher and participant. Because we are not a party to the transactions between participant and researcher, we are not responsible for resolving any disputes between participant and researcher.
